Guaranteed pleasure with no thorns

You may know thistles as those thorny bristles at the edge of the field. You would hardly expect that certain varieties hold something delicious: The artichoke is among them. And of course the safflower, whose peeled seeds we use for extracting delicately nutty safflower oil. Its vibrant aroma is particularly suited for refining the flavour of dishes.

Because our cold-pressed safflower oil has an extremely high percentage of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (77%), it should only be gently heated; this will preserve the safflower's precious substances.
