Using skill to produce the best oils

Coaxing the precious oil from ripe seeds requires a great deal of experience and skill. We place the utmost value on both.

 

Since 1926, we have used special care and love in extracting oils drop for drop. Es takes several years for our junior pressers to become masters. New pressers must demonstrate a love for the product, the willingness to try new things and learn, great attention to detail, concentration and flexibility. Our experienced master pressers instil in them knowledge of technology and sensitisation of the senses.

 

The knowledge of how to prepare a seed, and the subtle balance of how fine or coarse a fruit should be milled. The keen sense that the fruit paste is ready to be pressed - learning all of this takes some time.
